Welcome to the Women Working in Corrections and Juvenile Justice Conference

Iowa is proud to host "Celebrate the Journey," the 12th National Conference of Women Working in Corrections and Juvenile Justice.

Des Moines is a welcoming city. The Marriott Hotel is on a skywalk which connects the downtown commercial district. It is also a few blocks from the Des Moines River, with its walking and jogging paths.

We will offer a variety of workshops with something for everyone (from line staff to executives, county to federal level, community corrections and institutions, juvenile and adult programs), and tours of local correctional facilities and programs. We will also provide entertainment and a silent auction with proceeds donated to breast cancer research.

We will be adding more information to our website as it becomes available. We are excited about hosting this excellent conference, which is co-sponsored by the Iowa Corrections Association.
