Silent Auction
|
|
A silent auction will once again be held during the conference with all proceeds
going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Organization. Susan G. Komen fought a
battle with breast cancer and throughout her battle she was always worried about
other women battling breast cancer instead of her own situation. Susan did lose
her battle with cancer but made a promise through her sister, Nancy Brinker to
end breast cancer forever. Nancy founded the Susan G. Komen for
the Cure Organization. Thanks to events and contributions they have become
the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast
cancer in the world.
We will have some really great items up for auction during the conference and
hope that you will be able to take part in this event in support of the Susan G. Komen
for the Cure Organization. Since we will not be able to accept credit cards, we would
like to remind you to bring some extra spending cash or your check book so that you will
be able to bid on these items. With your support, we hope to make a generous donation
in the fight against breast cancer on behalf of the Women Working in Corrections
and Juvenile Justice conference participants.
If you have any questions or would like more information about the silent auction,
please do not hesitate to call us at the numbers listed.
Thank you in advance for taking part in the Women Working in Corrections
and Juvenile Justice silent auction in its efforts to support a truly worthwhile cause.
