Women Working in Corrections
and Juvenile Justice Conference
The Women Working In Corrections and Juvenile Justice (WWIC/JJ) National Conference will be held October 26 - 29, 2008 at the Marriott in downtown Des Moines, Iowa. WWIC/JJ has been supported and promoted for twenty years by women executives working in the corrections and juvenile justice professions. The Conference is expected to attract a wide variety of professionals in the Corrections and Justice field. The Conference will use hotel rooms and meeting spaces of the hotel and the exhibitors will be located in close proximity to all major events.
The Conference is an
opportunity for correctional professionals to collaborate, network, address
issues affecting the criminal justice system, and participate in professional
development workshops. Participants will include representatives from line
staff to executive level staff in state, federal and local prisons and jails,
parole and probation, juvenile justice, and the judicial system. With
executive level representation from most States, this Conference offers
corporations and companies an excellent opportunity to showcase their
products and services to those people with the authority to make purchasing
decisions. As such, your participation in this Conference will prove mutually
beneficial.
